Swans in Aomori Prefecture,
northern Japan

I can't say I'm a huge swan fan, though I like Tchaikovsky.
However, these beautiful, raucous birds flock to this river
in Japan's northern Aomori prefecture in late December and
it's a sight to see.

Swans in northern Japan They are graceful, though in numbers they make a heck of a racket. People come from miles around with their kids to fill the birds' tummies.
